» Bright colored clothing like red, pink or orange should be avoided. Prefer muted colors resembling forest shades like green, dull brown or light gray.

» Put out smoking materials, never leave your campfire unattended and extinguish it completely before leaving.

» Wear high and comfortable shoes during your stay at the park, and make sure to check them out before putting on for spiders, crawlers, scorpions etc.

» Avoid putting on strong fragrances like perfumes, scents, aftershaves etc. as they attract insects, flies and the likes.

» Do not carry noisy electronic gadgets like music-players, radios, or Horne etc. or talking in loud voice as it tends to scare the animals away.

» Do not throw waste-materials (plastic, papers, food scraps, fishing nets) inside the park; instead bring them back to your camp to dispose them off properly.

» If staying at a forest resort, avoid bright lights sources, though you may keep a torch with extra batteries handy.

» Do not feed the animals nor try to touch them.

» Carrying arms & ammunitions or alcohol are strictly prohibited inside the park.

» Fishing or swimming permissions are reserved inside the park so enquire thoroughly before proceeding.

» Pets are not permitted inside the sanctuaries.

» Night drives are either banned or allowed only by prior-permission.

» Use cameras or video-recorders that are able to withstand the reserve’s rough rides, dusts and bumps.

» Carry your own toiletries.

» Carry a survival kit consisting of survival blankets, Swiss army knives, nylon cord, fishing hooks, whistles, signal mirrors, waterproof matches and food rations.

» Do not forget to carry first aid kit- bandages, painkillers, antiseptic creams, medical tape, and personal medications (if any).

» Keep a bird book and good binoculars for an enhanced bird-watching experience.

» Dress code should be according to the prevailing season

» Pick good energy foods like fruits, milk bars, candies, etc.

» Always carry a good quantity of bottled drinking water with you.

» Carry a map of the jungle, useful in emergency situations or just to get an idea about the direction of the safari.
